The schoolhouse box, like most of our paper gift boxes, wrapping and packing paper, notebooks and printed cards, is made for us by Get Paper Industry in Kathmandu. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and uneducated women struggle to find work. The more Schoolhouse Gift Boxes that we sell, the more money we'll make for Get Paper Industry's own charitable organization to build a real schoolhouse and help fund an education for girls who might not otherwise receive schooling. Good things do come in small packages.
